  the wt study was always my favorite meeting as i could sit back and soak up all the unintelligent comments made by high school dropout pioneers or home learned children.

  my favorite is when i would hear people make up their own words.

  as elders we were told that tattoos were a no no!

  because leviticus 19:28 says not......and jar hoover doesn't change according to micah.. the verse prior says not to cut your beard.. we have here typical wbt$ spin.

  I though Messianic Law meant scrapping everything in the old testament? You know, dont eat a cows bollock on a Friday, dont eat cheese on a Tuesday, etc etc..........

  My ex-teacher told me once Messianic law was enforced, everything else written before was pretty much null and void. They are cherry picking as per ususal.

  Sky News emailed about UK charitable status

  following the recent breakthrough i have just sent the following email to sky news, expanding on the issue of the "mentally diseased" article to incorporate the issue of uk charitable status.

  i feel this is a good angle to go at, because sky news tends to focus on uk economic policy issues quite extensively.

  5 million per year in government gift aid being frittered away on a charity that condones breaking-up families and blocking medical treatment seems to me to be a newsworthy item.. here is the email.

  the nosy elder at the congregation i attend until i can get out very soon (just quickly: born in, was headed towards unbaptized pub but changed my mind about that and baptism) pulled me aside and showed me the scripture about coming across the body of water and asking "what prevents me from getting baptized" and i really want a quick, preferably smart-ass reply the next time he puts me on the spot like that.. .

  Im severely allergic to water. Everytime I accidentally get some on me, my lungs shut down, I break out in hives, and need an adrenaline shot.

  apart from it being frightfuly rude and ignorant, its actualy very funny and rather pathetic.

  i really pity these poor people who's lives are ruled by fear.. across the road from where i was working today lives one of my 'very good jw friends' who no longer has anything to do with me.

  as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

  yesterday, i opened a topix account so i could post the information about watch tower representatives attending the political ocse meeting in poland for two weeks and the proof that they are an ngo.

  You MUST contact the police. Even if, as you say, they "dont do anything", it WILL be kept on file and given a case number.

  Directing a comment at you that involves being shot is serious.

  Please tell the police.
